Birds & Butterflies ~ Wildlife {Oregon Photographer...Shelley Hohe}

On our trip to California we did some exploring and also fed the ducks. One of the places we stopped at was the Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding. My favorite exhibits there were the birds and butterflies. Not only was able to get these great shots but I was also able to hold a few birds.

As most people know my husband is the owner of Doctor Detail. He works so hard running his business. I am happy that I get to help him out in some small ways. While he does all the hard work, I do all of the bookkeeping and advertising. I have so much fun doing his design work for his advertising. I have been into graphic design since high school. I am just glad I get to put to practice what I learned so many years ago. Together we came up with his logo which was over 10 years ago. It has been 20 years since he first started a small detailing business and 10 years since we have been "Doctor Detail" I love being able to do all of his layouts from business cards to advertising posters. Here is some of my work.

A New Starbucks in Town ~ Lifestyle {Oregon Photographer...Shelley Hohe}

Yeah!!! I am so excited that we have a new Starbucks in town. Had to go check it out with the family & get some yummy coffee. Chocolate milk for the kiddos of course. I was also working on an assignment for a photography workshop I was in. I was trying to capture what it's like in a coffee shop. So many people doing different things. Some people reading a book or news paper, others on their laptops, friends chatting over a good cup of jo or students working on their homework. it's pretty neat to see how coffee can bring so many different people into one small place.

Besides taking photos of people and beautiful landscapes, I love taking photos of anything that really captures my eye. I also like to play around in photoshop to add frames and scrptures to my photos.

Practice Makes Perfect ~ Music {Oregon Photographer...Shelley Hohe}

My daughter has been playing the violin for a year now and she has definitely put her time into practicing. When she first started playing she would get upset that she couldn't even play a tune. Now after all her practicing she has learned to read music and can now play 8 songs. I loved being able to capture the emotions on her face as she was playing her violin.

My son just loves all of his action figures. He has quite the imagination as well. He can play and play all day till he completely crashes with toys in hand.

I really enjoy being able to go outside with my camera to capture some of God's beautiful creations.
